Davinci is one of the best weed vape brands operating today. It makes a range of portable weed vaporizers – and they’re all slightly different. I’ve used Davinci weed vapes for years now and I have tested all of them extensively. Here’s what you need to know about buying the best Davinci weed vape in 2022 and beyond.

It runs on a removable 18650 battery so, unlike the PAX 3, you can quickly continue your session by swapping out the dead battery for a fresh one.
Performance is brilliant too. At this price point, I honestly don’t think there’s a better portable weed vaporizer on the market. The flavor and vapor production is immense and the chamber is easy to pack and clean.
If you want the best DaVinci vaporizer in 2023, the one to go for is the DaVinci IQ2 – it has been my go-to vaporizer for the best part of 24 months now and it hasn’t missed a beat.
The Davinci IQ is a killer vaporizer. But its successor, the Davinci IQ 2, is a vastly superior weed vaporizer. The design remains largely unchanged, it still looks amazing, finished in brushed aluminum, but it now features an adjustable airflow, located on the bottom of the device, faster heat-up times, and 30% more performance. For me, the IQ 2 is 2020’s #1 portable vaporizer. Bar none.

The Best Affordable Option – The DaVinci IQC
If you cannot stretch to IQ2 money, the DaVinci IQC is your next best option. The DaVinci IQC is basically exactly the same as the DaVinci IQ2 where it counts – performance, size and dimensions, and overall design.

The only difference between the DaVinci IQC and the DaVinci IQ2 is that the DaVinci IQC lacks the IQ2’s adjustable airflow. If you can live without an adjustable AFC, you can save yourself quite a bit of money in the process.
Me? I seldom use the AFC on my DaVinci IQ2, so there’s probably a pretty strong case for getting the DaVinci IQC over the DaVinci IQ2, especially if you’re on a tighter budget this year (as most of us are).
The IQC is essentially the same as the IQ2 just minus the adjustable airflow. It doesn’t support oils either but if you can live without those things, the IQC is brilliant as a weed vape and it is $66 cheaper

Best Entry-Level Model – DaVinci MIQRO
The DaVinci MIQRO is the cheapest vaporizer in DaVinci’s current lineup of portable weed vaporizers. It is 33% smaller than the DaVinci IQ2 and IQC and it lacks much of their power, performance, and features.
Is it any good? Yeah, it’ll get the job done but it is no way near the IQ2 or IQC with respect to overall vapor production, flavor, and performance. The chamber is smaller, the power is less, and it doesn’t feature things like an adjustable AFC.
But it does work well, is simple to use, and is very portable. This makes it ideal for any beginner-type users that are interested in dipping their toes into the world of vaporizing weed.
Personally, I’d advise you to spend a little more and get the DaVinci IQC as it has all the performance you’ll ever need. But if funds do not allow, the DaVinci MIQRO is a decent little portable weed vaporizer that functions perfectly adequately.
The MIQRO is the smallest vape that Davinci makes; it is 33% smaller than the IQ2. It is also my least favorite of Davinci’s weed vapes. It isn’t quite as powerful, the flavor isn’t quite as good, and the battery life isn’t up there with the IQ2 and IQC. But if you want a small, cheap weed vape, it is well worth a look – it only costs $99.

Best DaVinci Weed Vape
Analysis
I have all three of these vaporizers but I tend to only use the DaVinci IQ2, and the reason for this is simple: it is the best overall vaporizer that DaVinci makes. It has adjustable airflow, it has the most power, and it delivers the best overall flavor.
Ergonomically, the IQ2 is a design masterclass. It looks stunning, it feels great in the hand, and it is portable enough to carry everywhere with you. The IQ2 feels significantly more robust than the PAX 3 and it handles better too, thanks to its physical buttons and the fact that it doesn’t rely on a phone app to function.
Like all DaVinci vapes, the DaVinci IQ2 runs on a removable 18650 battery. DaVinci even includes one in the box, so you don’t have to buy one as well as the vape itself. This is a nice touch by DaVinci, as it is not something most vaporizer companies do.
The upshot of using 18650 batteries for your vaporizer is that there is literally no downtime, providing you have a fresh battery charged up. All you have to do is take out the dead battery and put it in your charger. Then, add a new battery and pick up where you left off.
You cannot do this with nearly all other weed vapes, like the PAX 3 or the Mighty, as they run on internal, non-removable batteries.
DaVinci IQ2 vs IQC vs MIQRO – How They’re Different
With flavor and vapor production, the IQ2 is brilliant. I’ve used it side-by-side with my PAX 3 and Firefly 2 and the IQ2 wipes the floor with both of them. And because you have precision temperature control on the IQ2, you can quickly augment how it vapes with a simple click of a button. No phone app is required.
And if that wasn’t enough, the DaVinci IQ2 is designed to run both herb and oil, so you’re covered for all eventualities. For me, the Davinci IQ2 is the best portable web vaporizer on the market right now. At this price point, nothing else comes even remotely close.

Things To Keep In Mind
As you can tell from the bit above, I do like all of Davinci’s current weed vapes. They’re all good at what they do. But there is a clear demarcation between them, and it mostly relates to performance and features – things like support for oil, adjustable airflow, and battery life.
The IQ2 does everything, and it does it really well. You have excellent battery life, brilliant flavor, fast heat-up times, and, of course, support for dry herbs and oil, as well as that adjustable airflow control on the bottom. If you can stretch to $295, this is the one to go for – no question.

If you’re on a tighter budget, and you can live with support for oil and the adjustable airflow control, go with the IQC – it’s $66 cheaper and it performs more or less exactly the same as the IQ2. You do miss out on a few things but the IQC does have USB Type C for faster, wired charging.
I’d avoid the MIQRO completely unless you’re on a super-tight budget. It just isn’t in the same league as the IQ2 or the IQC.
