What You Need To Know

5% Is The Standard US Strength

Most mainstream Geek Bar models sold in the US contain 5% nicotine, which works out at roughly 50mg/ml.

There Is No Mainstream 3% Geek Bar

Geek Bar does not currently offer a widely available 3% model in its regular US range.

Pulse Mode Does Not Increase The Strength

The nicotine concentration stays the same. Pulse Mode uses more power and can produce more vapor per draw, so each puff may feel stronger.

Puff Count And Nicotine Strength Are Separate

A 60K device can contain the same 5% liquid as a 15K model. The larger number refers to estimated puff capacity, not stronger e-liquid.

Check The Label Before Buying

Strengths can differ by country, retailer and product version. Check the nicotine percentage printed on the box rather than relying on the model name alone.

Most Geek Bars sold in the US contain 5% nicotine salt, which works out to approximately 50mg of nicotine per milliliter of e-liquid.

But not all of them do.

Geek Bar now sells zero-nicotine versions, lower-strength 0.5% devices designed for bigger direct-to-lung draws, and a handful of 2% models in other markets.

That means you should always check the strength printed on the box. The Geek Bar name alone no longer tells you how much nicotine you are getting.

Geek Bar Nicotine Strength Comparison

This table covers the main Geek Bar models currently sold in the US, including older models that remain widely available.

Availability varies considerably. Some international models can appear in US vape stores through importers, while older models may remain on sale after Geek Bar has moved on to newer hardware.

What Does 5% Nicotine Actually Mean?

A 5% Geek Bar contains approximately 50mg of nicotine per milliliter of e-liquid.

The calculation is straightforward:

  • 0.5% equals approximately 5mg/ml
  • 2% equals approximately 20mg/ml
  • 3% equals approximately 30mg/ml
  • 5% equals approximately 50mg/ml

The percentage describes the nicotine concentration inside the liquid. It does not tell you how many puffs the vape has, how quickly you will finish it or exactly how much nicotine your body will absorb.

A 5% Geek Bar is a high-strength nicotine product.

Nicotine salt makes that concentration feel smoother than 50mg/ml freebase nicotine would. That smoother inhale can make it easy to take repeated draws without the throat irritation you might expect from such a strong liquid.

That is why I would not treat a 5% Geek Bar like a low-powered refillable pod running 3mg or 6mg freebase e-liquid. They are very different setups.

Nicotine Strength vs Total Nicotine

Nicotine strength and total nicotine are not the same thing.

Two devices can both contain 5% nicotine but hold different amounts of e-liquid.

For example:

ModelE-liquid capacityStrengthApprox. nicotine contained in liquid
Geek Bar Pulse 15K16ml5%800mg
Geek Bar Pulse X 25K18ml5%900mg
Geek Bar Pulse 2 25KAround 18ml5%Around 900mg
Geek Bar Pulse X2 50K18ml5%900mg
Geek Bar Mate 60K Pod15ml5%750mg
Geek Bar Clio Platinum Pod16ml5%800mg
Geek Bar Burj 80K25ml0.5%125mg
Geek Bar Pulse X DTL18ml0.5%90mg

These are content calculations, not absorption figures.

You do not absorb every milligram contained inside the vape. Some nicotine remains in the device, some is lost in exhaled vapor and the amount delivered varies with output, airflow, draw length and how often you use it.

The figures are still useful because they show why a lower-strength Burj can hold 25ml of liquid without containing as much total nicotine as a much smaller 5% Pulse.

Geek Bar Pulse 15K Nicotine Strength

The original Geek Bar Pulse contains 5% nicotine salt, equal to approximately 50mg/ml.

It holds 16ml of e-liquid and is rated for:

  • 15,000 puffs in Regular Mode
  • 7,500 puffs in Pulse Mode

The concentration remains 5% in both settings.

Pulse Mode fires the coil harder and produces more vapor. That means each draw may deliver more vapor and potentially more nicotine than a similar-length Regular Mode draw, even though the liquid itself remains 5%.

This is the Geek Bar that made the brand huge in the US. It is still widely sold, although the newer Pulse 2 has started replacing it.

You can see how its puff rating compares with every newer model in our Geek Bar puff comparison.

Geek Bar Pulse Zero Nicotine

Geek Bar also sells a nicotine-free version based on the Pulse chassis.

It contains:

  • 0% nicotine
  • 0mg/ml
  • No nicotine in the e-liquid formula

The zero-nicotine version is useful for adults who want the flavor and hand-to-mouth action without consuming nicotine.

It should not be treated as a smoking-cessation product, though. If your goal is to stop using nicotine completely, FDA-approved nicotine-replacement products and professional support have a much longer track record.

Geek Bar Pulse X 25K Nicotine Strength

The standard Geek Bar Pulse X contains 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml.

It normally includes 18ml of e-liquid and offers:

  • Up to 25,000 puffs in Regular Mode
  • Up to 15,000 puffs in Pulse Mode
  • Adjustable airflow
  • Dual mesh coils
  • An 820mAh rechargeable battery

The Jam, Slush and other Pulse X flavor editions use the same 5% strength unless the packaging specifically says otherwise.

The standard Pulse X is noticeably different from the Pulse X DTL. Do not assume they contain the same strength simply because the chassis looks similar.

Geek Bar Pulse X Zero Nicotine

A 0% Pulse X is also available.

This version uses:

  • 0% nicotine
  • 0mg/ml
  • The same 18ml capacity
  • Regular and Pulse modes

The Pulse X Zero is currently the more advanced no-nicotine Geek Bar because it adds a curved screen and adjustable airflow.

Availability can be patchy, so you may still find the zero-nicotine version of the original Pulse more easily.

Geek Bar Pulse X DTL 25K

The Pulse X DTL is the low-strength version.

It contains 0.5% nicotine, equal to approximately 5mg/ml. That is one-tenth the concentration used in the standard 5% Pulse X.

The lower strength makes sense because its airflow can be opened for a much larger direct-to-lung draw. A DTL inhale moves far more vapor than the tight mouth-to-lung pull used by most disposables.

Putting 5% liquid through a high-output 40W DTL device would be far too much for many users. The 0.5% formula is better suited to the amount of vapor it produces.

Do not confuse 0.5% with 5%. They are ten times apart:

  • 0.5% equals 5mg/ml
  • 5% equals 50mg/ml

That decimal point matters. A lot.

Geek Bar Pulse 2 25K Nicotine Strength

Geek bar pulse 2 25kPin

The Geek Bar Pulse 2 contains 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml and right now it is the Geek Bar that I’d recommend to most people.

Why? It’s easy to use and delivers the best value for money in the range.

It is the proper follow-up to the original Pulse and includes:

  • Up to 25,000 puffs in Regular Mode
  • Up to 15,000 puffs in Pulse Mode
  • An 800mAh rechargeable battery
  • Adjustable airflow
  • A 0.8-ohm dual mesh coil
  • USB-C charging

The Pulse 2 is still a high-strength disposable despite its smoother draw and upgraded airflow.

If you already use the original 5% Pulse, moving to the Pulse 2 should feel familiar in terms of nicotine strength. The bigger changes are its airflow control, coil, screen and higher puff claim.

I currently think it is one of the easiest Geek Bars to recommend. You can read our full guide to the Geek Bar Pulse 2 for a closer look at what changed.

Geek Bar Pulse X2 50K Nicotine Strength

The Geek Bar Pulse X2 contains 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml.

Despite the jump to a claimed 50,000 puffs, Geek Bar has not lowered the concentration.

The Pulse X2 includes:

  • 18ml of prefilled e-liquid
  • 5% nicotine salt
  • Up to 50,000 puffs in Regular Mode
  • Up to 25,000 puffs in Pulse Mode
  • A 1000mAh rechargeable battery
  • A 0.6-ohm dual mesh coil

The 50K claim comes from Geek Barโ€™s revised coil and power management, not from a weaker nicotine formula.

If you are sensitive to 5% nicotine, the Pulse X2 is not automatically gentler just because it lasts longer. It uses the same 50mg/ml concentration as the original Pulse.

Geek Bar CLR 50K Nicotine Strength

The Geek Bar CLR contains 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml.

CLR stands out because it uses a transparent e-liquid tank. That lets you see what remains rather than trusting an electronic liquid gauge.

It is available with:

  • 5% nicotine
  • Regular and Pulse modes
  • A 900mAh rechargeable battery
  • Dual mesh coils
  • Adjustable airflow
  • A clear e-liquid reservoir

Retail listings disagree about whether the CLR holds 17ml or 25ml. Because of that conflict, I would not use a total-nicotine calculation for this model until the capacity printed on the retail box has been checked.

The strength itself is consistently listed as 5%.

Geek Bar Mate 60K Nicotine Strength

The Geek Bar Mate 60K uses 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml.

Unlike the Pulse, the Mate is a two-part pod system. You keep the main battery section and replace the prefilled pod when it runs out.

Each pod contains approximately 15ml of 5% e-liquid. That works out to roughly 750mg of nicotine contained in the liquid before use.

The starter kit and replacement pods use the same strength:

  • Mate 60K starter kit: 5%
  • Mate 60K replacement pod: 5%

There is no confirmed 0%, 0.5%, 2% or 3% Mate pod in the current US range.

The Mate makes the most sense if you like changing flavors without buying another complete battery every time. Check our Geek Bar flavor rankings before committing to a pod.

Geek Bar Clio Platinum 50K Nicotine Strength

The Clio Platinum contains 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml.

Like the Mate, it uses a separate battery section and replaceable prefilled pod.

Each Clio pod contains:

  • 16ml of e-liquid
  • 5% nicotine salt
  • Approximately 800mg of nicotine in the unused liquid
  • Regular, Pulse and Super Pulse modes

The Clio has appeared less consistently at US stores since the Mate arrived, but it remains listed by Geek Bar and can still be found through US retailers.

All currently confirmed Clio flavors use 5% nicotine.

Geek Bar Burj 80K Nicotine Strength

The Burj is the big exception in Geek Barโ€™s current range.

It contains 0.5% nicotine salt, equal to approximately 5mg/ml.

That is ten times weaker by concentration than a standard 5% Pulse.

The lower strength exists for a good reason. The Burj is a DTL e-hookah rather than a tight MTL disposable. It uses:

  • A 25ml e-liquid capacity
  • A 1500mAh battery
  • A 0.4-ohm dual coil
  • Adjustable top airflow
  • Eco, Regular and Pulse modes
  • A much airier hookah-style draw

You inhale a much larger volume of vapor with the Burj. The 0.5% strength keeps the nicotine concentration lower to account for that bigger draw.

This does not mean you can inhale it constantly without consuming nicotine. You may take larger or longer pulls because the liquid feels weaker.

If you want the lowest-nicotine Geek Bar that still contains nicotine, the Burj and Pulse X DTL are the two main options.

Geek Bar 2GO 50K Nicotine Strength

The Geek Bar 2GO contains 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml.

It uses two tanks with 20ml of e-liquid in total. Depending on the version, you can switch between two flavors or adjust the cooling level.

It is not as common as the Pulse series in US stores, but it remains part of Geek Barโ€™s wider product range.

All currently listed 2GO variants use 5% nicotine.

Geek Bar Somax 80K Nicotine Strength

The Somax 80K is normally listed with 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml.

It is a dual-tank device with Regular and Pulse modes. Availability is much stronger outside the US, so you are more likely to encounter it through an importer than at a mainstream American vape store.

Check the box carefully if you find one. Geek Bar produces different formulations for different countries, and an imported Somax may not match a US retailerโ€™s online description.

Geek Bar WATT 23K Nicotine Strength

The Geek Bar WATT 23K contains 2% nicotine, equal to approximately 20mg/ml.

This makes it considerably weaker than the usual 5% Geek Bar:

ModelStrength
Standard US Geek Bar5%, approximately 50mg/ml
Geek Bar WATT2%, approximately 20mg/ml
Burj/Pulse X DTL0.5%, approximately 5mg/ml
Zero-nicotine Pulse0%, 0mg/ml

The WATT is mainly an international model. If you find it in the US, it is likely imported stock rather than part of Geek Barโ€™s core American range.

Older Geek Bar Models

Older Geek Bars remain in stores long after a new version launches. That does not necessarily mean they are counterfeit.

Here are the strengths associated with the most common older models:

Older modelNicotine strength
Geek Bar Skyview 25K5%
Geek Bar Meloso Ultra 10K5%
Geek Bar Meloso MaxCommonly 5%
Geek Bar Meloso ProVaries by market
Geek Bar DF80002% or 5%
Geek Bar Platinum EditionCommonly 5%
Geek Bar 911 GT 16KCommonly 5%
Geek Bar Ice Prince 50KListed at 5%

Some of these models were made for international markets. Nicotine laws differ between countries, so the same product family may appear at 2% abroad and 5% in the US.

This is why the packaging matters more than the model name.

Does Pulse Mode Increase The Nicotine Strength?

No. Pulse Mode does not alter the liquid from 5% to a higher percentage.

The nicotine concentration remains the same.

What Pulse Mode changes is the power sent to the coil. Higher power normally produces warmer, denser vapor and vaporizes more e-liquid during the draw.

That means a Pulse Mode puff may deliver more vapor than a Regular Mode puff of the same length. More vapor can mean more nicotine delivered during that draw.

So the strength printed on the box does not change, but the way the device delivers it can.

If a 5% Geek Bar feels too strong, switching to Regular Mode may soften the experience. Moving to a genuine lower-strength product is the more direct way to reduce the concentration.

Which Geek Bar Has The Highest Nicotine Strength?

The highest current Geek Bar strength in the US is 5% nicotine salt, equal to 50mg/ml.

Models at this strength include:

  • Geek Bar Pulse
  • Geek Bar Pulse X
  • Geek Bar Pulse 2
  • Geek Bar Pulse X2
  • Geek Bar CLR
  • Geek Bar Mate
  • Geek Bar Clio Platinum
  • Geek Bar 2GO
  • Geek Bar Somax

None of these is stronger by concentration than the others. A 5% Pulse X2 and a 5% original Pulse contain the same nicotine concentration.

What changes is the liquid capacity, coil output, airflow and amount of vapor produced per draw.

Which Geek Bar Has The Lowest Nicotine Strength?

The lowest is a zero-nicotine Geek Bar at 0%.

Current or recently available versions include:

  • Geek Bar Pulse Zero Nicotine
  • Geek Bar Pulse X Zero Nicotine

If you still want nicotine but at a lower concentration, look at:

  • Geek Bar Burj 80K: 0.5%
  • Geek Bar Pulse X DTL 25K: 0.5%
  • Geek Bar WATT 23K: 2%, mainly an international model

The Burj and Pulse X DTL produce much more vapor than a standard MTL Geek Bar, so their lower strength does not automatically mean every session will deliver one-tenth as much nicotine.

Are There Any 3% Geek Bars?

No, nearly all American models are 5%. The lower-strength alternatives jump to 0.5% or 0%.

If you see a 3% Geek Bar listing, it may be:

  • An imported regional version
  • An incorrectly written retailer description
  • An altered or counterfeit product
  • A strength that has not yet received a wider US release

Check the authentication code and strength printed on the sealed box.

Are 2% Geek Bars Available In The US?

Geek Bar makes 2% products, but they are mainly designed for countries where nicotine concentration is limited to 20mg/ml.

The DF8000 and WATT are two examples.

A 2% Geek Bar found in an American vape shop is likely imported. That does not automatically make it fake, but it may have different packaging, flavors and hardware from the normal US version.

How To Check A Geek Barโ€™s Nicotine Strength

Look for the following information on the box:

  • Nicotine percentage
  • Nicotine stated in mg/ml
  • E-liquid capacity
  • Product authentication code
  • US nicotine warning
  • Batch or manufacturing information

A normal US 5% box may show any of the following:

  • 5%
  • 5% nicotine
  • 50mg
  • 50mg/ml
  • 50mg salt nicotine

Technically, โ€œ50mgโ€ by itself is vague. Retailers often use it as shorthand for 50mg/ml.

For a lower-strength model, look for:

  • 0.5%
  • 5mg/ml
  • Low nicotine
  • DTL or e-hookah positioning

For nicotine-free versions, confirm the box says:

  • 0%
  • 0mg
  • Zero nicotine
  • Nicotine free

Do not judge the strength by the device color or flavor name. The same flavor can appear in both nicotine and nicotine-free versions.

Which Geek Bar Strength Should You Choose?

5%

Choose 5% If:

  • You already use high-strength nicotine salt disposables
  • You are moving from another 50mg/ml disposable
  • You prefer a tight MTL draw
  • Lower-strength devices do not satisfy you

Five percent is strong. If you do not already use nicotine, do not start with it.

2%

Choose 2% If:

  • You already use nicotine but find 5% too strong
  • You can find a genuine 2% regional model
  • You prefer a moderate-strength MTL vape

The catch is availability. Geek Bar does not offer a large 2% range for mainstream US buyers.

0.5%

Choose 0.5% If:

  • You want a larger DTL draw
  • You are interested in the Burj e-hookah
  • You want a lower nicotine concentration
  • You prefer bigger clouds and more open airflow

A 0.5% DTL device produces more vapor per puff than a standard MTL disposable. Lower concentration does not always mean a tiny nicotine intake per draw.

0%

Choose 0% If:

  • You do not want nicotine in the e-liquid
  • You are removing nicotine while retaining the physical habit
  • You mainly vape for flavor
  • You understand that nicotine-free vaping is not completely risk-free

Zero percent means the e-liquid contains no nicotine. It does not mean the vapor is harmless.

My Take: Geek Bar Needs To Make This Clearer

Geek Bar Nicotine Strength Comparison Guide (2026 Models)Pin

Geek Barโ€™s range used to be simple. You bought a Geek Bar in the US and it was almost certainly 5%.

That is no longer the case.

We now have models at 5%, 2%, 0.5% and 0%. Some are MTL devices, some are DTL, some are pod systems and others are basically portable electronic hookahs.

The naming does not always make those differences clear.

The basic rule is this:

  • Standard Pulse-style Geek Bars are usually 5%.
  • DTL and e-hookah models are usually 0.5%.
  • Zero-nicotine editions are clearly marked 0%.
  • Two-percent models are usually international stock.

Always check the box rather than trusting a product photo or retailer title.
