Geek Bar Pulse 101: What You Need To Know

geek bar pulse guidePin

The Geek Bar Pulse is a pretty novel disposable vape device that has currently generating quite a bit of hype. Here’s everything you need to know…

With its innovative features and reported 15,000 puff count (more on this in a bit), the Geek Bar Pulse aims to bridge the gap between traditional disposable vapes and pod vapes.

This approach isn’t exactly new (there’s loads of disposable/pod hybrids doing the rounds now, thanks to new laws and regulations) but Geek Bar is always good value, so I figured this one was worth a write-up.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Geek Bar Pulse, from its key features to its pros and cons.

What Is The Geek Bar Pulse & Why Should I Care?

Geek Bar Pulse 101: What You Need To KnowPin

As previously noted in the intro, this is one of those new hybrid pod/disposable vape systems.

Now, I’m not 100% onboard with this kind of thing if I’m being totally honest. Personally, I always advise my readers to go with a proper, refillable pod vape.

The reason? They’re cheaper, they’re better for the environment, and the performance – regardless of what disposable companies say – is ALWAYS better.

The Geek Bar Pulse is a compact little setup though, packing in a bunch of useful stuff for flavor-chasers. It comes pre-filled with vape juice (that’s the disposable element of it), a built in battery, and it uses dual-mesh coil tech for bangin’ flavor.

Beyond this, you have things like its dual core system mode, whereby you can run it in one of two modes: Pulse Mode (for maximum performance) and Regular Mode (to conserve power and juice).

Told you it was pretty novel!

Key Features of the Geek Bar Pulse

  1. Draw-activated vaping: Inhale through the mouthpiece to start vaping.
  2. Pre-filled e-liquid: No need for messy refills.
  3. Built-in battery: Non-rechargeable, lasting for a designated number of puffs (depending on the model).
  4. Compact and lightweight: Easy to carry around.
  5. Variety of flavors: From fruity and minty to dessert-inspired options.
  6. Dual mesh coil technology: Enhances flavor and vapor production.
  7. Dual core system: Allows for two performance settings – Pulse Mode and Regular Mode.
  8. Full-size LED screen: Displays battery life, e-liquid levels, and cosmic-themed animations.

Using the Geek Bar Pulse

I’ve literally only just got my hands on my test unit, so I haven’t had time to do any trouble-shooting with the device yet.

Setup is insanely simple, though, as you’d expect from a disposable system. Follow the steps below and you’ll be up and running in no time:

  1. Unboxing and Setup: Remove the Geek Bar Pulse from its packaging and discard any stickers or protective layers.
  2. Vape Activation: Inhale through the mouthpiece to start vaping. There are no buttons or adjustments needed.
  3. Switching Modes: Press the button to switch between Pulse Mode (higher wattage for intense vapor and flavor) and Regular Mode (efficient for a longer-lasting experience).

And if you run into trouble with your Pulse, EightVape – the brand that sent my test unit – has some pretty handy tutorials which are linked below:

Should You Get One?

Geek Bar Pulse 101: What You Need To KnowPin

If you’re a disposable user that simply does not want to switch to a pod vape, sure the Geek Bar Pulse is a great little setup.

It does loads of puffs (around 15,000 in Standard Mode, but considerably less in Pulse Mode), the flavors are great, and it is simple to use and actually looks damn good with respect to design, fit and finish.

I’ve enjoyed testing mine but, as always: it is a disposable. Eventually it is just going to end up, well… needing to be disposed of.

And I hate this kind of thing, especially when you can use pod vapes and vape mods which, while not entirely perfect, contribute far less to the build up of e-waste.
