Ah the PuffCo Proxy, the ultimate on-the-go dab station. I’ve had one since it came out and it has been a solid, reliable addition to my hardware-stack. I love the PEAK PRO too (and I’ve compared the Peak Pro and the Proxy here), but I’m definitely more of a PROXY kinda guy these days.
PuffCo makes a range of accessories for the Proxy, as well as its other vaporizers. You don’t NEED any of them to run one, but they do make life a lot easier. I was lucky enough to test out ALL of the Proxy’s accessories over the past 12 months.
And you know what? There’s like 5 that I think are really useful. You DO NOT need any of them to run it – I need to get that out of the way right away.
But some of them do add in plenty of utility, improving the user experience and/or speeding this up.

I’ve listed a collection of PuffCo PROXY accessories below. Out of the list, there are just three that I would consider ESSENTIAL, and they are as follows:

The Catalina Proxy Rig is a top-tier accessory (which is a nice way of saying it is HELLA EXPENSIVE) that is designed specifically for use with the PROXY.
It fits snuggly and securely. Out of all the ones I have tested, this one has been the most impressive, not just with the way it fits the PROXY but also it’s overall build quality.
The standout feature is its 3-hole waffle perc, which pretty much guarantees smooth and effortless airflow, delivering cooler and super-clean hits.
The hourglass body not only enhances the rig’s visual appeal but also provides a sturdy 75mm base for exceptional stability during use.
Why It’s a Great Option for the PuffCo Proxy:

Essential? No, but there are cool. I can totally live without it though. The PROXY delivers rock-solid vapor as is. But if you’re something of a connoisseur, they’re probably worth checking out.
Power Bank – Never Run Out of Battery Again
Nothing kills the vibe like a dead battery, especially when you’re out and about.

You don’t need to get all of these, or any of them for that matter. But if you’ve spotted one that you think will make your life easier, my advice would be to go for it.
As good as the PROXY is, it does have a few pain points that come with using it, especially over the longer term.
You start to uncover things that you wish it could do, features it included. Out of all the accessories listed above, the ones I think deliver the most utility and are actually worth investing in are:
- The Hot Knife: It just makes loading up the PROXY so much faster and less of a messy affair; if you use your PROXY a lot, I’d definitely class this one under ESSENTIAL.
- The Bub: The Bub is a great way of augmenting how the PROXY hits. It’s great out of the box, but if you want a smoother, cooler hit, the Bub delivers this is spades. Not ESSENTIAL, but a valuable addition for dedicated users.
- The Power Bank: Battery life is ALWAYS an issue with vaporizers. This power bank essentially solves any and all issues related to battery life and charging. For me, this accessory is ESSENTIAL because I travel a lot and it also powers my phone and laptop too (all at the same time).
That’s my 2 cents on what accessories are worth getting if you’re rocking a PROXY. Again, you don’t need any of them to use the PROXY but they do add in lots of additional capabilities, functionality, and performance.
