The Volcano Hybrid filling chamber is designed to hold a fairly generous amount of material. That’s great for group sessions, but it can feel wasteful when you’re only using a small amount.
The dosing capsule adapter solves this problem by allowing you to use Storz & Bickel’s pre-filled dosing capsules inside the Volcano Hybrid.
Better for Small Loads
The biggest benefit is efficiency.
Without the adapter, small amounts of herb can spread around inside the larger chamber, leading to uneven extraction and the need to constantly check or stir your load. The adapter creates a smaller, more concentrated chamber that works much better with micro-doses and solo sessions.

But for whatever reason, it ain’t. Fortunately, it costs less than $15 so it’s not exactly going to break the bank either.
