The Voopoo Argus GT 2 is a premium-looking vape mod kit that is designed to withstand even the most harshest treatment.

I’m talking about drops from height, water, kicks and punches, dust, and even things like oil and other liquids.

Basically, this thing is built to withstand everything that life can throw it at, so whether you’re a sloppy drunk or you work in extreme environments, the Voopoo Argus GT 2 is probably something you should be looking at.

The Voopoo Argus GT 2 comes with VooPoo’s new MAAT tank which is designed, like the mod, to be extremely robust, even in extreme conditions.

The MAAT tank is also 100% leak-proof, thanks to VooPoo’s new bowl design that sits around the coils.

You have masses of power, a range of vaping modes – from things like Smart to RBA and TC modes – and the buttons are nicely placed for easy access.

The mod itself is also extremely smart-looking despite its rugged nature, and it comes with 200W of power, as well as VooPoo’s new GENE.TT 2.0 chipset.

Who is the Voopoo Argus GT 2 designed for? I’d say anyone that wants a robust, IP68-rated vape mod kit that withstand the elements.

It is a high-performance, dual-18650 vape mod that comes with a pretty special tank – the MAAT tank – and it can output up to 200W.

It’s plenty powerful and, thanks to the inclusion of the new GENE.TT chipset, it comes with a bunch of smart vaping modes which include:

• Smart – This mode automatically reads the resistance of your coil and sets the appropriate wattage.
• RBA (VW) – In this mod, you can adjust your wattage to whatever you feel is right for you.
• Turbo – This mode adds a boost to your initial wattage for a few milliseconds then evens out to your desired wattage.
• TC – This the mode you’ll want to use for use for temperature control vaping with SS, Ni and Ti coils. It also supports pre-sets for each coil type too.

For more advanced or adventurous vapers, the Voopoo Argus GT 2 is an obvious option. It comes with loads of different vaping modes, even TC, although there’s no TCR mode, sadly, but there’s still plenty of tinkering to be had inside its settings.

The star of the show, save for its power and looks, is the fact that it is IP68-rated, meaning it can withstand shocks and drops and bumps and dips in water. And this protection extends to the MAAT tank as well.

Is the MAAT Tank any good? I think so, yeah; it isn’t the prettiest of tanks but it does hold 6.5ml of vape juice and it has a unique design twist that makes it 100% leak-proof.

It works too; this thing does not leak, even with sloppy installs.

The flavor and coils are decent too. The MAAT tank delivers a slightly more restricted DTL vape than some of you might be used to but I think it works.

The flavor is exceptional and coil lifespan is brilliant – each coil latest, on average, around 12 days, so pretty darn good even by 2023 standards.

The MAAT tank’s large capacity (6.5ml) means you can fill it up in the morning and pretty go a full day without having to worry about refills.

The flavor and draw is very much on point and while it is slightly more restricted the than UFORCE-L tank that comes with the VooPoo Drag 4, I think it works just as well.

All told, this setup is bloody impressive for the price. I think it is one of the strongest vape kits on the market right now. It has spades of performance, the MAAT tank delivers exceptional flavor and coil lifespan, and the entire package is 100% water, dust, and shook resistant.

Would I buy it? Yes I would. In fact, I did. And I’d definitely buy it again if something were to happen to my kit.

VooPoo is no stranger to making decent vape hardware. The VooPoo Drag 4 is one such device. But I think the Voopoo Argus GT 2 is a very different beast altogether, and it is a far more compelling option for a specific type of vaper too.

If you need a powerful, extremely durable vape mod kit, something that can withstand all kinds of extreme conditions and hold its own, the Voopoo Argus GT 2 kit is definitely worth a look – it’s stylish, well built, has tons of power, and it comes with an exceptional tank.

As kits go, you’re kind of spoilt in 2023’s market – there’s just so many excellent vape mod kit options. But I do genuinely think that the Voopoo Argus GT 2 is one of the better options for three very specific reasons:

1. It has loads of power and modes, so it is perfect for more advanced vapers that like the tinker with their mod’s settings.
2. The design is very solid and premium looking. Add in the fact that it is water, dust, and shock resistant and you’re looking at a fairly compelling setup by these standards alone.
3. The MAAT tank is utterly brilliant. It doesn’t leak, it kicks out immense flavor and the draw, while a little restricted, is very, very good for all day usage. The coils it comes with are phenomenal as well, lasting, on average, a good 12 days before needing a change.
