The Puff Counts Need A Massive Pinch Of Salt
Let’s get this out of the way first: I do not believe anyone should treat 100,000 or 200,000 as literal, repeatable puff counts.
Disposable-vape puff figures are generated using extremely short machine-controlled draws. They do not represent the longer pulls most people take from a hookah-style device, especially with the airflow opened for DTL vaping.
The liquid capacities tell us much more.
The Plus contains 50ml. The Mega (pictured above; it’s bloody massive) contains 80ml. That means the Mega carries 60% more liquid, not 100% more.
If your draw length and airflow remain broadly similar, the Mega should last around 1.6 times as long. The dual-coil setup can also use liquid more quickly when you take long, open-airflow draws, so the real difference may be smaller.
That does not make either device short-lived. Fifty millilitres is already an enormous amount of e-liquid for a sealed vape. The Plus lasts far longer than an ordinary disposable, and the Mega goes further again.
Just do not buy the Mega expecting exactly twice the usable life. The hardware does not support that maths.
Design And Everyday Use
The Hookalit Plus 100K is already a large device, but it still behaves more like a personal vape. You’ll still need a backpack to carry it though because there’s NO WAY it’s fitting in your jeans pocket.
I can pick it up, take a draw and put it down without turning the entire thing into an event. The body is easier to hold, and it is much more realistic to carry from room to room or take to somebody else’s house.
It isn’t something I would call pocket-friendly in the same way as an XROS or a small disposable. But next to the Mega, it feels positively restrained.
The Mega is huge. Like, freakishly large. It’s a desktop vape, essentially, designed for use at home and not on the move.
It stands more than 20cm tall and has a wide base. That makes sense because it has been designed to work as both a standalone e-hookah and a head for a traditional hookah setup. It feels more like a tabletop device than something you carry around all day.

The Plus does this well. Its output is smooth, cool and flavourful, especially with the airflow around the middle. It produces much more vapour than its 0.35% nicotine strength might suggest, but it does not feel overly aggressive.
The Mega’s dual-coil arrangement produces a denser and more hookah-like draw. There is more vapour, the flavour feels fuller and it works better when you open the airflow and inhale directly into the lungs.
It is the more impressive device during a short side-by-side test.
But dual coils come with a trade-off. Heating more coil surface requires more power and can vaporise liquid more quickly. The Mega has more battery and more liquid to compensate, but the dual-coil design is another reason its 200,000-puff claim should not be taken literally.
The Plus is calmer and more economical. The Mega is bigger and more forceful.
Neither approach is automatically better. It depends on the type of draw you want.
Flavour And Vapour Production
Using comparable flavours, the Mega produces the thicker and more saturated vape.
The difference is most obvious with the airflow open. The dual coils produce the kind of dense output people expect from an electronic hookah, and the low nicotine strength allows you to take a longer pull without getting an immediate 5% disposable-style nicotine punch.
The Plus is slightly lighter and less intense. I find it easier to use casually because every draw does not fill the room quite as quickly.
Flavour quality is good on both. What matters more is flavour consistency over time.

I prefer it around the middle. That setting keeps the flavour concentrated without making the draw feel overly tight.
The Mega is at its best with more air. Its dual coils and larger body are clearly aimed at DTL use and longer group sessions. You can restrict it, but doing so misses much of the point.
If you want a tight MTL vape for short nicotine hits, I would buy neither. Get a normal refillable pod kit.

Battery Life And Charging

The Plus feels well matched to its battery. With casual use, I am not constantly looking for a charging cable.
The Mega also performs well, but it still needs charging regularly during its very long overall lifespan. Buying a 200K device does not mean charging it once and forgetting about it for a month.
Both use USB-C. The Mega cannot be used while charging, so plan around that if it is being shared during a long session.
My advice is simple: charge either device before a party or long evening. The battery display helps, but it cannot rescue you once the device is plugged in and temporarily out of action.

It gives me the smooth, low-strength, hookah-style experience without feeling like I am carrying a small appliance around. Fifty millilitres is already plenty, and I would rather finish one flavour and move onto another than commit to 80ml every time.
The Mega 200K is more impressive. Its dual coils hit harder, the vapour is denser and its ability to mount onto a proper hookah gives it a real reason to exist.
It is also better value when the price difference is small. Paying around 25% more for 60% more liquid and the upgraded coil system is perfectly reasonable.
Just do not buy it because the box says 200,000 puffs. Buy it because you want a large home-based e-hookah, plan to share it or will actually use it with a hookah base.
