The High Five LCD E-Nail Titanium Nail Kit is the most expensive system in this list. It is also the one I’d buy if I wanted a traditional e-nail that could sit on my desk and survive years of regular use.

That comes down to the titanium nail.

Quartz usually wins on flavor, but it’s breakable. Drop it, knock it or hit it with a sudden temperature change and that can be the end of it. Titanium is considerably harder to kill.

That separate coil switch is more useful than it initially sounds. You can leave the controller powered while switching off heat to the coil, rather than shutting down the complete unit.

Is that worth an extra $28 to $35, depending on the bundle and current price? For a permanent desktop station, I think it is. For occasional use, the Micro controller does the same main job for less.

Quartz vs Titanium: Which Nail Material Is Better?

Quartz and titanium suit different buyers.
