TL;DR: Which pod vape has the longest lasting coils?
After testing 20+ pod vapes, the one with the longest lasting coils right now is the Vaporesso XROS Pro 2.
- Vaporesso’s COREX coil tech gets you 5-6 weeks between pod changes, which nothing else comes close to.
- OXVA’s XLIM Pro 2 DNA and XLIM Pro 3 are excellent alternatives with similar flavor performance, but they’re still a couple of weeks behind on coil life.
If longevity is the priority, the XROS Pro 2 wins, and it’s not even close.
In the past 12 months I’ve tested out 20+ pod vapes and as many disposable vapes too.
I use pod vapes and I advise all of VapeBeat’s readers to do the same because they’re better, cheaper to run, and they’re more environmentally sound.
Which Pod Vape Has The Longest Lasting Coils?

As of right now, the pod vape with the longest lasting coils (meaning replacement pods) is Vaporesso’s XROS Pro 2.
It runs on the Vaporesso’s COREX platform which means you can say the same for the Vaporesso XROS 5, XROS 5 Mini, and the older XROS 4 and the OG XROS Pro.
The Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 is the best option though because it has the biggest battery, it comes with a new COREX coil option, it has an adjustable airflow and it looks and feels the best in the hand.
The new nano-microfiber process, whose fiber diameter is reduced by 30%, reduces the surface oil film by 50%, and improves the liquid locking ability by 50%, thus dramatically increasing the efficiency of the e-liquid supply, as well as making the atomization process more full and effective, and greatly improving the finesse of the atomization – Vaporesso.
So, if coil longevity is your thing and you want 5-6 weeks between changing your pod, get yourself the Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 because it’s basically in a league of its own in this context.
Honorable Mentions / Worthy Alternatives

Vaporesso’s coil tech beats everybody else’s right now but there’s still a few other notable pod vapes I really like.
The OXVA XLIM Pro 2 DNA and the newer OXVA XLIM Pro 3 are both excellent options. For flavor, I think they have the XROS Pro 2 and XROS 5 beat.
But for coil longevity, they’re still a solid couple of weeks between Vaporesso in my experience.
OXVA’s vapes tend to look better too; they’re more fancy looking and come with more features. I really like what OXVA is doing with its pod vapes these days.
If it could match Vaporesso’s coil tech, I’d be recommending them instead of the XROS series. But as it stands, Vaporesso’s XROS pods are still the best when it comes to overall longevity right now.
And the best of the best when it comes to Vaporesso XROS pod vapes is the Vaporesso XROS Pro 2, my current daily-driver.
