TL;DR: What’s The Best UK ZYN Flavour To Try in 2026?
I tested out the entire 2026 UK ZYN range. My goal? Find the best flavour options and put them into some kind of hierarchial order, so you can quickly find the best flavour profile to try first.
Here’s how it breaks down for me after working my way through the entire flavour range:
- Best all-rounder: Cool Mint for a clean, classic mint.
- Best softer mint: Spearmint if you want less of a sharp, cold hit.
- Best fruity pick: Black Cherry for fruit without a strong menthol finish.
- Best fruit-and-mint mix: Blueberry Mint.
- Coldest flavour: Menthol Ice.
- Most different: Try Coffee or Guava Spice.

UK ZYN Flavours Ranked: Best To Worst
I tested the full UK ZYN range and Cool Mint is still the one I keep coming back to. Citrus is the best non-mint option, while Spearmint is the better choice if you want something softer and less icy.
Cool Mint
🌿 Peppermint · Menthol · FreshClean peppermint with enough menthol to feel fresh without becoming painfully cold. Balanced, consistent and the easiest ZYN flavour to use every day.

🍊 Orange · Lemongrass · TangyBright orange followed by a sharper lemongrass note. The slight tang keeps it lively and stops it tasting like another flat, overly sweet fruit pouch.

Spearmint
🌱 Soft Mint · Sweet · MellowSofter and sweeter than Cool Mint, with less peppermint bite and no huge menthol blast. The better mint for a smoother, more laid-back session.

Black Cherry
🍒 Cherry · Dark Berry · VanillaA proper cherry flavour backed by darker berries and a soft vanilla finish. Sweeter and fuller than the mint options, but it still clearly tastes like cherry.

Coffee
☕ Roasted Coffee · Mocha · ChocolateRich roasted coffee with softer mocha and chocolate notes. Distinctive without tasting like a sugary coffee drink, although it is not a flavour I want all day.

Blueberry Mint
🫐 Blueberry · Cool Mint · SweetSweet, slightly tart blueberry with a clean mint finish. The cooling lifts the fruit and keeps the pouch from becoming too sugary.

Red Fruits
🍓 Raspberry · Rhubarb · MentholStrawberry and raspberry with tart rhubarb and a cooling finish. Sharper than the name suggests, but less suited to anyone wanting straightforward berry sweetness.

Guava Spice
🥭 Guava · Tropical Fruit · ChilliSweet tropical guava followed by a noticeable chilli warmth. It is different and worth trying, but the spice makes it less suitable as an everyday pouch.

Watermelon Mint
🍉 Watermelon · Mint · LightSweet watermelon with a soft mint finish. Pleasant and easy to understand, but less layered and memorable than Blueberry Mint or Citrus.

Blackcurrant Frost
🫐 Blackcurrant · Dark Berry · IcyDark blackcurrant followed by strong menthol. The opening fruit is good, but the cooling quickly takes over and makes it harder to use for longer sessions.

Menthol Ice
❄️ Menthol · Eucalyptus · Extra ColdThe coldest pouch in the range. Menthol and eucalyptus hit immediately with very little sweetness. Good at one thing, but far less balanced than Cool Mint.

Blueberry Frost
🫐 Blueberry · Dark Berry · FrostPleasant blueberry with darker berry notes and cooling. It sits between Blueberry Mint and Blackcurrant Frost without doing either style quite as well.
Check Blueberry Frost Price →Start with Cool Mint for the safest all-round pick, Citrus if you want something fruitier, or Spearmint for a softer mint.
This is my ranking of ZYN’s current 2026 UK range of nicotine pouches. I judged it based on the things that matter to me, as a pouch user: the flavor itself, how clear it is, how well the notes work together and whether I’d want to use it again.

I’ve tested LOADS of nicotine pouches since 2024, so I know what makes a good pouch. From the flavour profile to the mouth-feel, there’s more to making a decent nicotine pouch than you’d assume.
Strength is a separate thing, and something you’ll need to figure out for yourself. If you’re a heavy smoker or vaper, you’ll want to go for 9mg to 12mg, possibly stronger. Me? I tend to use either 9mg or 12mg. Both usually hit the spot.
Just remember: The same flavor can come in different strengths and pouch formats, so check the can before you buy. And the strength DOES affect the flavour because higher nicotine pouches have way more of a kick.
Which ZYN flavor should you try first?
| If you want… | Try |
|---|---|
| A classic mint | Cool Mint |
| A softer mint | Spearmint |
| Fruit without a strong menthol finish | Black Cherry |
| Fruit and mint together | Blueberry Mint |
| The coldest hit | Menthol Ice |
| Something different | Coffee or Guava Spic |
Most Popular ZYN Flavours In The UK?
That’s my order after trying the range. And while taste is very much subjective, I think this ranking is fairly common based on my additional market research and speaking to contacts in the industry: UK users tend to gravitate towards minty flavours with a fairly large chunk also liking flavoured options like Black Cherry and Blueberry Mint.
But the ranking IS subjective to my own tastes, so don’t go thinking just because a flavour that sounds appealing to you is ranked lower that it isn’t worth trying. That’s not what these lists are about.
And once you know what flavour you actually like, you can get a tin of ZYN pouches for as little as £1.99 each when you buy them in bulk. This is what I do; it saves me a TONNE of money every month and, over the course of a year, probably the equivalent of a few hundred quid.
