TL;DR: Should You Get the Aura Bar 40K?
This is one of the most impressive, innovative, and well engineered disposable vapes I have ever tested. Period. It sets out to do a couple of things and it nails both. As dual-flavor disposables go right now, I think the Twist Aura Bar 40K is currently the one to beat.
Here’s what I liked about this vape:
- ✅ 40,000 puffs — one of the longest-lasting kits I’ve tested.
- ✅ Twist-to-switch flavors — no mess, no fuss, just variety on demand.
- ✅ Mesh coil = full-on flavor that holds up over time.
- ✅ Smart LED display so you always know where you’re at.
Stuff To Keep In Mind
❌ A bit chunky in the hand/pocket.
❌ Only two flavors at a time, unless you swap pods.
First Impressions: Pretty? No. Practical? Hell yes.

The Aura Bar 40K doesn’t look like a luxury item; there’s nothing really premium about its design or its build materials.
It’s also chunky too, both visually and in the hand. It kind of reminds me of a fat USB stick that’s always on bulking season. But the moment I gave it a pull and tasted the Blue Razz Cherry flavour, I literally didn’t care; the flavor and way it vapes is brilliant.
The MTL draw is just as I like it, not too tight but tight enough, and the flavours in the range of bold and jam-packed with, well… flavor. It impressed me right out the gates.
But that’s not even its main thing; no, the Crystal Prime Twist Aura Bar 40K’s big party trick is that it runs two flavours inside one vape, and to switch between them all you have to do is twist the top to swap.
And it isn’t a gimmick, either. It not only works but it is actually really useful and I found myself using it all the time, switching up multiple times throughout the day.
What It’s Like To Use the Aura Bar 40K

I’ve been carrying the Aura Bar with me for about two weeks now, using it daily. It’s a chunky-monkey, as I noted in the intro, but it is a damn good vape. I’ve had zero issues with my review units, no performance issues, and the coils have been fantastic.
Here’s what stood out most for me:
Flavor Variety Without The Fuss
The twist-to-switch system is what sold me. Some days I’m in the mood for something tangy, other days I want something smooth and icy.
With this thing, I can flip between Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice and Lemon Lime just by rotating the mouthpiece.
There’s no leaking. No flavor contamination. It’s super clean, and both flavors stay fresh all the way through.
Cloud & Performance
I was honestly surprised at how smooth and dense the vapor is. This isn’t your typical one-note disposable. The mesh coil tech really brings the flavor to life, and I’ve had zero dry hits so far. Like, none. And that is the sign of a rock-solid, well engineered coil.

Is it as good as my usual daily driver (the Vaporesso XROS 5), no, not really. And that device is refillable too. I always use refillable pods; disposables are a problem we shouldn’t have to deal with, so my advice to our readers is to ALWAYS use a refillable pod vape system for optimal vaping.
Battery Life & Charging
At 850mAh, it’s not monster-sized and I wasn’t expecting much. But because this is a fairly low-power vape and the chip it runs seems to know what it’s doing, battery life is actually pretty decent.
Your mileage might vary but I have been getting around 1.5 to 2 days of usage with moderate vaping. Heavy vapers will need a top-up most days, however, and you’ll want to keep the battery juiced to ensure it hits with its full potential as well.
It runs USB C quick charging, though, so recharging takes like 5-10 minutes. I charge mine in the car sometimes when I’m in a pinch and it only takes about 20 minutes to fully charge back up.
Is It Actually Portable?
The Aura Bar 40K is a big boy. It isn’t going to win any prizes for being svelte. But when you’re dealing with 40K puffs and two juice reserves this is always going to be the case.
Personally, I don’t mind a hefty vape, so long as it’s not ridiculous (like the last vape I tested; the OLIT Hookalit Pro 60K), and in this context it’s not just big for no reason. Function follows form with the Aura Bar 40K, and the function is something I enjoyed, so, yeah, I’ll take a thicker vape if it means I don’t need to carry two or three backups with me all day.
Pros You’ll Actually Notice
- Long-Lasting as Hell: 40K puffs means I don’t even think about replacements for weeks.
- Instant Flavor Switch: Great for mood changes and avoiding flavor fatigue.
- Simple to Use: No buttons. Just inhale and go.
- Solid Build Quality: No rattles, no leaks, magnets snap pods in securely.
- Smart Display: Useful info right where you want it.
- Legal in the UK: TPD-compliant and ready for post-ban reality.
Some Downsides to Consider
- Two Flavors Only: Want to change flavors again? You’ll need a new pod.
- No Wattage or Airflow Control: What you see is what you get — solid, but not customizable.
- Still Disposable-ish: Despite being “reusable,” the pods are prefilled and non-refillable.
- Size Matters: It’s bulkier than most pod kits or disposables.
Wrapping Up / Is The Crystal Prime Twist Aura Bar 40K Worth It?

I’ve tried A LOT of strange and weird disposable vapes in the past 12 months, from hookah-style monsters to disposables that let you switch and blend flavours on the fly, and quite a few of them were good.
The Crystal Prime Twist Aura Bar 40K, however, is in a different league: it is not just well engineered and well put together, it is actually something I really enjoyed testing and using in my day to day life.
And when you test as many freakin’ vapes as I do, that doesn’t happen very often and it tells me that I’m dealing with something notable, something special, something worth checking out.
I’ll still always use a refillable pod for my daily-driver (currently the XROS 5 and XLIM PRO 2 DNA), but I have to give props to Crystal for the Prime Twist Aura Bar 40K, it is damn impressive pretty much across the board.
