OXVA XLIM Pro 3 Review: The Best XLIM Pod Yet?

If you’ve used an XLIM before, the OXVA XLIM Pro 3 will feel instantly familiar.

But it is better than anything the company has made so far, and that is more or less immediately obvious.

It takes everything that worked on the XLIM Pro 2 and makes it cleaner, snappier, and more flavourful.

So if you’re wondering whether the Pro 3 is worth the upgrade, or your first jump into the XLIM system, here’s my 2 cents on what life’s like living with OXVA XLIM Pro 3.

I’ve used most of OXVA’s latest pod vape releases, including the awesome OXVA XLIM Pro 2 and OXVA XLIM Pro 2 DNA.

How does the XLIM Pro 3 up the ante? Here’s all the big updates and changes versus its predecessor:

So yeah, this is a proper sequel, not just a cosmetic refresh.

Let’s talk about what really matters: the vape.

OXVA’s UniTech 2.0 mesh coils are seriously good. Whether you’re puffing 0.4Ω for a warm RDL vape or sticking with 1.2Ω for tight MTL on nic salts, the flavour holds up well even as the battery drops.

Here’s how the coils break down:

• 0.4Ω / 0.6Ω: Warm, semi-airy RDL or loose MTL, best with 50/50 or 60/40 freebase
• 0.8Ω / 1.2Ω: Tight, classic MTL for 50/50 nic salts or regular freebase

I’m getting 3-4 weeks between changes, on average. That’s good. But it’s not as good as what I get on my Vaporesso XROS Pro 2; that’ll do 5-6 weeks easy.

Flavour stays consistent too, thanks to the Pulse System keeping voltage steady as the battery drains.

I’d say the flavor performance is as good as any pod on the market right now too, so if flavor is a thing for you (which it probably is) you won’t have too many complaints in this regard.

Real-World Battery Life & Charging

This thing runs all day.

Even using the 0.4Ω pod at 25-30W, the 1500 mAh battery easily pushes through a full day. MTL users? You’ll probably go a day and a half, maybe two before hitting 0%.

And when you do need a charge?

• 80% in about 30 minutes
• Full charge in under an hour
• Charges via USB-C at 2A

No waiting around. It’s actually viable as a daily driver, even for heavier users.

Compare that to something like the Vaporesso XROS 3 Mini, which struggles to last more than 5–6 hours with heavy use, and the XLIM Pro 3 feels like a power bank in disguise.

Daily Usability: Buttons, Screen, Airflow

Using the XLIM Pro 3 is easy. You’ve got one button, auto-draw, and a smooth airflow slider on the side.

The new 1.05″ screen is a big step up. It’s actually visible in sunlight, and shows wattage, battery %, puff count, and coil resistance. The UI is also customisable, so you can tweak it to show what you care about.

Pros – What It Gets Right

• Excellent battery life – 1500 mAh is huge for a pod system
• Rapid charging – 2A USB-C means you’re never down long
• Superb flavour – UniTech 2.0 mesh + Pulse System = consistent performance
• All XLIM pods supported – Huge win for existing users
• Top-fill pods – No more messy bottom fills
• Bright, useful screen – Actually adds value, not fluff

Cons – And Some Trade-Offs

• Pods are integrated – So you replace the whole pod, not just the coil (more expensive long-term)
• 30 W max output – Great for MTL/RDL, but not enough for full DL or cloud chasing
• Airflow slider can shift in your pocket – Not a big deal, but worth checking
• May be too complex for total beginners – The screen and options might feel like overkill if you just want to puff and go

Who Should Buy the XLIM Pro 3?

If you want a compact pod vape that punches well above its size—for flavour, battery, and flexibility—it’s hard to beat the XLIM Pro 3.

OXVA really knows what it’s doing when it comes to refillable pod vapes, and this one is easily the best one I’ve used by them by a considerable margin.

✅ You’ll love it if:

• You want MTL or RDL in one kit
• You vape regularly and need battery life that lasts
• You care about flavour and want consistent hits

❌ Skip it if:

• You’re chasing clouds at 50W+
• You prefer to swap coils instead of whole pods
• You want something ultra-basic with no screen

The OXVA XLIM Pro 3 is the best XLIM device to date. It fixes the quirks of earlier models, adds meaningful upgrades, and delivers top-tier performance for its size.

Would I daily-it over something like the XROS Pro 2? Potentially. I do think the XROS Pro 2’s pods are better for longevity, and it has a bigger 2000mAh battery.

But for overall performance, looks, and flavor, they’re both evenly matched. I still think the Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 is the slightly better option when it comes to battery life and pod longevity, but the XLIM Pro 3 is still well worth a buy for your collection.
