The Pulse X doesn’t just throw out big numbers, it actually backs them up. Whether I was in Regular Mode or flipping to Pulse Mode for thicker clouds, it consistently delivered strong, smooth hits without any burnt taste.
What I Loved:
- Dual Puff Modes: Regular Mode runs at 12W and gives you the full 25,000 puff capacity, while Pulse Mode bumps it to 25W for intense clouds and warmer hits — at the cost of lower puff count (15,000 max). Still worth it if you like power.
- Flavor Holds Up: The dual mesh coil system really shines. I tested Blue Razz and Strawberry Mango, and both stayed flavorful well past the 1,000 puff mark: no fade, no weird aftertastes.
- That Display Tho: The 3D curved screen is massive (for a disposable) and actually useful. You get a live readout of battery level, e-liquid level, and puff mode. Looks cool, but it’s also practical.
- Mod-Like Feel: It doesn’t feel like a throwaway. The build is chunky but solid, with a nice ergonomic mouthpiece and tight draw that mimics a proper pod vape.
Things to Keep In Mind
- It’s Big: This isn’t your jeans-pocket-friendly Elf Bar. It’s more like carrying a small pod mod.
- Not Refillable: Once it’s empty, it’s landfill time.
- Flavor Range Isn’t Massive: You get the basics, but not the wild variety you’ll find in other Geek Bar lines.
- Boost Mode Cuts Puff Life: Running Pulse Mode full-time brings puff count down to ~15,000 — fair trade for better clouds, but worth noting.
