TL;DR – JNR MediaMax 40000
The JNR MediaMax 40000 isn’t your average disposable — it’s a touchscreen, Bluetooth-connected vape with serious battery life.
It’s a cool idea, vapes well, and offers massive puffs, but the smart features feel a bit gimmicky.
Quick Hits:
- 🔋 40,000 puffs (Regular Mode), 20,000 puffs (Pulse Mode)
- 📱 Touchscreen + Bluetooth for calls, messages, camera remote
- 🌬️ Smooth MTL draw, consistent flavor
- 🧃 21ml e-liquid inside — way more than usual
- ❌ No airflow control; touchscreen iffy in sunlight
Bottom Line
Fun, different, and it vapes great — but not a serious pod system killer.
Disposable vapes aren’t usually known for being smart. They’re cheap, convenient, and usually pretty basic. But the JNR MediaMax 40000? Yeah, it’s here to do things slightly differently.
This isn’t just another puff-and-chuck device. With a touchscreen, Bluetooth functionality, and a puff count that rivals your entire vape drawer, the MediaMax 40000 is easily one of the most advanced disposables we’ve tested – and it is priced super aggressively too.
So, is it just a gimmick or actually worth your money? I took a few for a spin last month. Here’s what you need to know about this tech-heavy disposable vape…
What Makes the JNR MediaMax 40000 Special?

You might’ve seen a few disposables pushing 20K or 30K puffs lately. But 40,000 to 50,000 puffs is the new frontier and there are plenty of decent vapes doing this now.
My personal favorite (as of right now) would be the VooPoo NEXA 50K – it is a complete badass in every conceivable metric. Still, the JNR MediaMax 40000 ain’t no slouch either despite not quite matching it in the pure puffs department.
Here’s what you’re working with:
JNR MediaMax 40000 Specs – The Standout Stuff
🔋 Battery & Longevity
- 1000mAh rechargeable battery – You’ll need to top it up, but not often. Mine lasted three days before it needed a top-up, and I was hitting it hard.
- Dual vaping modes:
- Regular Mode: Up to 40,000 puffs.
- Pulse Mode: More intense flavor, maxes out around 20,000 puffs.
Translation? You choose whether you want all-day flavor blasts or marathon battery life.
I did find that the vapor tasted better in Regular Mode, but it is nice to have Pulse Mode for when you’re out and about and don’t have a charger.
📱 Touchscreen & Smart Features
- 2.4-inch HD touchscreen – Not a typo. On a disposable.
- Bluetooth-connected:
- Get call/message notifications.
- Use it as a remote for your phone’s camera.
- Find your phone when it’s lost in the couch cushions.
- Lock mode to avoid pocket firing.
Is it a gimmick? Hell yes, of course it is. I set it up, it worked OK but it is not something I’d ever really use. Still, if that’s something you like the sound of, it’s definitely a USP no other disposable has right now.
How’s the Vaping Experience?
When you test as many disposables as I do, you start to get a little dead on the inside. They all start to look and feel the same. Even the flavors start to intermingle, so you forget what you thought about one a few days later.
This is why I keep a notepad; it helps me organise everything. But when I started testing the JNR MediaMax 40000, I knew I’d remember it because, well… it’s so bloody novel.

It’s boxier than most, owing to all the tech that is secreted away inside it, but the actual vaping experience is very good. I’m often worried when something appears to place functions (or, worse gimmicks) ahead of form, but JNR has nailed it here.
The MTL draw is tight enough without being excessive and it hits reliably and consistently without any drop-outs or hangs. I’ve been through several and the hit is consistant AF. You’d be surprised how many disposables cannot do this.
✅ Flavours Tested:
I went through a few options for this review:
- Strawberry Banana
- Peach Mango Watermelon
- Sour Apple Ice
- Miami Mint
- Fcuking Fab (yes, that’s really the name)
Throat Hit & Draw:
All the flavors we tried had a smooth MTL (mouth-to-lung) draw, which makes sense—this thing is clearly tuned for that classic cig-a-like hit.
The Pulse mode added a noticeable boost in flavor intensity and vapor production.
- Miami Mint: Clean, cooling, and not overdone.
- Strawberry Banana: Surprisingly balanced—none of that fake banana taste.
- Fcuking Fab: Candy-sweet, very bold. Think mixed berries and a sugar rush.
You also get 21ml of e-liquid inside, which is basically a full bottle of juice in one device.
Fun Fact: That’s 7x more e-liquid than most disposables carry.
I don’t think the JNR MediaMax 40000 is as good as the VooPoo NEXA 50K or a pod vape like the XROS Pro, but it is a very interesting device and it does vape surprisingly well – especially since I had no prior experience with the brand (JNR).
I like the thought that has gone into it but the inclusion of “smart features” in vapes is always something that makes me wince. I get that brands need new ways of marketing their products, but bluetooth in a vape? Yeah, that’s probably not the route you wanna take.
Downsides? Yeah, a Few
No device is perfect—even a futuristic disposable like this. Given the thought and planning that went into its “smart features”, I’d have love to have seem a similar amount of effort applied to its core features.
There’s a few things missing that I’d have liked to have seen; the most notable of which would be an adjustable airflow and, given its size, 50,000 puffs.
- You’ll need to recharge it. While USB-C charging is fast, it’s still something to keep in mind.
- The touchscreen can be finicky in bright sunlight. It’s not quite iPhone-level responsive.
- No airflow control, so if you’re picky about draw resistance, you’re stuck with stock settings.
Who’s This For?
If you’re the type of person who:
- Always loses their vape
- Wants a crazy-long-lasting disposable
- Loves trying out new flavors
- Likes gadgets and gimmicks (but still wants a decent vape)
…then you’re gonna love the MediaMax 40000. This thing is a beast, and it’s easily one of the most innovative disposables out there right now.
Is it one of the best disposables on the market? No, that crown is still very much controlled and owned by the VooPoo NEXA Ultra 50K – and that one will take some beating.
Wrapping Up…

The JNR MediaMax 40000 is definitely worth a look if you like tinkering around with stuff. It’s “smart features” might come in handy for some users. I didn’t really pay them much mind.
It vapes great, the MTL draw is decent although it’s not quite up there with the likes of the XROS Pro or the VooPoo NEXA 50K.
But for the price, it is damn fine vape – it costs less than $16 / £15 and that is significant given all of its bells and whistles and that it’ll do 40K puffs.
Between the 40K puff count, smart features, and decent flavors, it is doing something very cool, though: it’s pushing the boundaries of design and what we can and should expect from a disposable vape.
Sure, it’s overkill for some people. But for others? It’s the perfect balance of techy, tasty, and totally extra.
