Say, HELLO, To The Aspire Pegasus 70W Box-Mod

Aspire Pegasus 70W Box-ModPin

Aspire have been busy bunnies this. Not only have they pumped out some VERY decent tanks in the past several months or so, but the company recently also debuted its Aspire Pegasus 70W box-mod, a gorgeous new piece of that is now widely available in the UK and US.

As an entry level box-mod it really doesn’t get any better than this. I remember just 18 months ago when you’d have to pay this price for a 30W set-up and now, just a few moons later, you’ve got a box-mod with a gorgeous design and excellent features and the power to go all the way to 70W for under £50. Talk about a BARGAIN!

Standing at 91mm in height and 45mm in width, the Aspire Pegasus 70W is a pretty svelte device. It will fit in your pocket, allow you to stealth vape (yep, that’s a thing) but still kick out plenty of clouds thanks to its available 70W of power. In this regard it kind of reminds us of a classier, more powerful version of the Innokin CoolFire 4

It also looks bloody splendid too, as you can see in the images below:

The Aspire Pegasus also has what the company is calling an “adjustment wheel”, whereby the user changes the wattage setting by cranking it clockwise or counterclockwise. Now, this might sound a bit remedial compared to simply clicking up and down, but we’re willing to hold judgement on this part until we’ve tested the Pegasus out, so we suggest you do the same.

“There are a number of ‘brushed’ feel finishes available. Brushed slate, Brushed Brass and Brushed Chrome. Each has a distinctive style and offer something a little different than the usual mixture of colours, or jsut plain black.  Some variety this time around,” notes the UK Ecig Store. “As for the general aesthetic of the products, It looks like a winner. Once we get our hands on these well be able to better assess the look, but we could describe these as more sophisticated in their design than previous models. Perhaps as a way to distinguish the device due to the competitive nature of the box mod world.”

Furthermore, Aspire have created a charging dock for the Pegasus and the overall look and finish appears to be superb, as it allows for steady charging on a desk or your bed-side table. Now, this isn’t all that earth-shattering, granted, but it is definitely a nice design touch and it does show that vape manufacturers are starting to think more and more about design and user experience when developing their products.
